Just had 12 days in Ashburton/Christchurch, visiting rellies. Weather was just as hot as Brisbane where I now live! And I reckon the rays were burnier. Had a lovely time.

Hey all you Christchurch folk, look out for the Webuy bus cruising around wearing sandwich boards and handing out fliers in the coming weeks. Try not to laugh at us too much..lol

Hey thanks for the invite to this group of Kiwi's in Canterbury place.
In 1961, My first trip to Christchurch was flying down in a Commercial flight from Hamilton via NAC (National Airways Cooperation). The Govt air nz of those days in a DC3 a twin pistion engined motors that cannot fly above 10,000 feet as the Oxi air is too thin and heaps of air pockets all the way down. I loved it though as we were the young adrenalins of those days.
Enjoyed working and going to dances in those days where we did not drink or smoke but had lot of fun in Chistchurch.
Went to my Neaces 21st birthday last year from Whangarei to Christchurch flying air nz. flght time one hour only.
Whew, has time changed but you do not take in the good view anymore, for you are above the clouds most times now.
Hey..! its all good though, and enjoy your holliday season...

I' ve visited there lots, so I must almost belong
